Sakhi is built on trust. Your health data is yours — we never sell it, share it, or trade it with any third party. Ever.
1Who We Are
Sakhi is an AI-powered women’s health companion application. References to “Sakhi,” “we,” “our,” or “us” refer to the developers and operators of the Sakhi application. Contact: support@sakhi.fit
2What Data We Collect
- Account information: your email address and the name or nickname you choose to use within the app.
- Health profile: your average cycle length, average period length, and the health condition you select (PCOS, PCOD, endometriosis, thyroid, hormonal imbalance, or regular).
- Daily logs: mood, energy, pain, symptoms, skin, hair, water intake, sleep hours, exercise, and any medication you choose to log.
- Period logs: period start dates, end dates, and flow level.
- AI chat messages: messages you send to Sakhi AI. These are processed by Anthropic’s Claude API and are subject to Anthropic’s data handling policies in addition to ours.
- App usage data: feature usage, session length, and crash reports — anonymous and aggregated.
3How We Use Your Data
- To provide personalised cycle predictions and phase information.
- To generate personalised meal plans adapted to your phase and condition.
- To power Sakhi AI responses with context about your health profile.
- To calculate your Sakhi Score and Future You Feed predictions.
- To improve prediction accuracy as you log more data over time.
- To send you optional notifications (only if you enable them).
We never use your data to serve advertisements. Sakhi is a paid subscription product with no advertising model.
4Partner Mode Data Sharing
If you choose to use Partner Mode, you control exactly which data is visible to your connected partner. You can toggle individual permissions on or off, and disconnect a partner at any time from your Profile settings. Partner connections are revocable immediately.
5Data Storage and Security
- AES-256 encryption at rest for all stored data.
- TLS 1.3 encryption for all data in transit.
- Row-level security ensuring you can only access your own data.
- No direct database access from client applications.
6Third-Party Services
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage. See supabase.com/privacy.
- Anthropic (Claude API) — powers Sakhi AI Chat. See anthropic.com privacy.
- Razorpay — payment processing for Indian and international subscriptions. We never store your card details. See razorpay.com/privacy.
7Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your personal data is permanently deleted within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymised statistics may be retained but cannot be linked back to you.
8Your Rights
- Access all your data (from Profile settings).
- Export your data in a readable format (email support@sakhi.fit).
- Correct any inaccurate data.
- Delete your account and all associated data.
- Withdraw consent for optional data processing at any time.
9Children’s Privacy
Sakhi is designed for users aged 13 and above. The Intimate Health section is age-gated at 18. We do not knowingly collect data from users under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us immediately at support@sakhi.fit.
10Changes to This Policy
We will notify you of material changes to this policy in-app or by email before they take effect. Continued use of Sakhi after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
