Sakhi is a health information companion, not a medical device. Please read these terms carefully before using the app.
By downloading, installing, or using the Sakhi application, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use Sakhi. These terms apply to all users of the app, including free and paid subscribers.
Sakhi is an AI-powered women's health companion that provides cycle tracking, period prediction, personalised health insights, AI-powered chat, meal planning, and related features. Sakhi is an informational tool and is not a medical device, diagnostic tool, or substitute for professional medical advice.
The content provided by Sakhi — including AI chat responses, cycle predictions, health articles, meal plans, and any other information — is for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not intended to be and should not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay in seeking it because of something you have read or received from Sakhi.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Sakhi. The Intimate Health section is restricted to users who confirm they are 18 or older. By using the app, you represent that you meet these age requirements. We reserve the right to terminate accounts of users found to be below the minimum age.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it updated.
Sakhi offers a free tier and paid Pro subscriptions. Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected. Payments are processed securely through Razorpay (India) or Stripe (International). Subscription fees are charged at the beginning of each billing period. You authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Price changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from Profile — Subscription within the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to Pro features until the end of the paid period. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for partial periods unless required by applicable law. All content in Sakhi — including the app design, health articles, AI responses, text, graphics, and code — is the intellectual property of Sakhi and its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without explicit written permission. Your personal health data remains yours.
Partner Mode is a feature that allows you to share selected health information with a trusted person. By using Partner Mode, you consent to sharing the specific data you select. You are responsible for choosing your partner carefully. Sakhi is not responsible for any consequences arising from data shared through Partner Mode. You can disconnect a partner at any time.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Sakhi and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability to you for any direct damages shall not exceed the amount you paid for Sakhi in the three months preceding the claim.
We aim to maintain 99.5% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email and in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
