Sakhi is a health information companion, not a medical device. Please read these terms carefully before using the app.

1Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Sakhi application, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you must not use Sakhi. These terms apply to all users, including free and paid subscribers.

2Description of Service

Sakhi is an AI-powered women’s health companion providing cycle tracking, period prediction, personalised insights, AI chat (powered by Anthropic Claude), meal planning, pregnancy tracking, emergency mode, partner mode, and related features. Sakhi is an informational tool and is not a medical device, diagnostic tool, or substitute for professional medical advice.

3Medical Disclaimer

All content provided by Sakhi — including AI chat responses, cycle predictions, health articles, and meal plans — is for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Always seek the advice of your physician or another qualified health provider with any questions about a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you received from Sakhi.

4Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Sakhi. The Intimate Health section is restricted to users who confirm they are 18 or older. By using the app, you represent that you meet these age requirements.

5Account Registration

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, and agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

6Subscription and Payments

Sakhi offers a free tier and paid Pro subscriptions:

  • India: ₹99/month or ₹699/year — processed via Razorpay.
  • International: $4.99/month or $39.99/year — processed via Razorpay.

Subscription fees are charged at the beginning of each billing period. You authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Price changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance.

7Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from Profile → Subscription within the app. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep Pro access until then. See our Refund Policy for details.

8Acceptable Use

  • Do not use Sakhi for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws.
  • Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app.
  • Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users’ data.
  • Do not use automated scripts or bots to access the service.
  • Do not share your account credentials with others.

9Intellectual Property

All content in Sakhi — app design, health articles, AI responses, text, graphics, and code — is the intellectual property of Sakhi and its licensors. Your personal health data remains yours.

10Partner Mode Terms

Partner Mode lets you share selected health information with a trusted person. You control exactly what is shared and can revoke access at any time. Sakhi is not responsible for consequences arising from data you choose to share through Partner Mode.

11Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sakhi and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for direct damages shall not exceed the amount you paid for Sakhi in the three months preceding the claim.
